The PickleFest at Jefferson Beer Supply in Jefferson, SD, runs from July 11–13, 2025, celebrating everything pickle—from a pickle-infused “In a Pickle” ale (and its spicy version) to pickle-inspired snacks, sno-cones, and a face-in-hole photo wall—all with free admission and a family-friendly atmosphere. The Pump N’ Run 5K kicks off at 8:30 AM on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Adams Homestead & Nature Preserve in North Sioux City, SD—participants can go the traditional 5K route or earn bonus time by completing bench‑press reps beforehand. Registration is $35, and all proceeds support park programs, with trophies for top finishers and medals for all finishers. |
| Winnebago Powwow Celebration
The 2025 Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska’s 159th Homecoming Celebration Powwow takes place at Winnebago Veteran’s Memorial Park from Thursday, July 24 to Sunday, July 27, featuring flag ceremonies at 6 AM and 5 PM, grand entries at 1 PM and 7 PM daily, plus sacred drumming, healing dances, Indigenous food and craft vendors; weekend passes are $10 (free for enrolled tribal members and veterans).
