Visit Tri-Valley China participated in the Rediscover America Shenzhen US Travel and Tourism Promotion event at Pengnian Palace Renaissance Hotel on January 9, 2024. A total of 300 sales and operations staff of travel agents based in Shenzhen and Guangzhou attended the event. VTV China did a presentation to introduce Tri-Valley hotels, shopping, restaurants, and wine tasting to the audience, gave away two bottles of Wente Wine, and answered questions about itinerary recommendations for both groups and FITs. VTV China also met the travel agents at the Visit Tri-Valley table to discuss future cooperation to jointly promote and sell US tour packages including overnight stays in the Tri-Valley.
The other US destinations who participated in the event are: Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board, Visit California, Hawaii Tourism, Shop North America, Rockefeller Center, Destination DC, United Airlines, Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, Marriott International, Empire State Building Observatory, and Experience Kissimmee. VTV will be participating in two more similar events across China in the coming months. Even though Visas are still difficult to obtain, VTV is preparing to welcome back our guests from China in 2024! |

Todd Dibs, Director of Sports Development at VTV, will be attending his first tradeshow of the year, Sports Express, in Tempe, Arizona next week. He will meet with 30+ planners and start building the pipeline for state, regional, and national sports events to hold their events here in the region. |
