I AM Tri-Valley: Wineries

On June 8, hoteliers and VTV staff packed the Livermore Valley Wine Trolley and headed out to Livermore Valley Wine Country. We got a lovely tour and tasting with Salome Garau-Taylor at Retzlaff Vineyards where we learned about how Retzlaff is one of the only true organic and sustainable vineyards in the Livermore Valley.

We followed it with a tasting and tour with Jeremy Troupe-Masi and Ganea Powell of Darcie Kent Vineyards plus, Garden of Eden, the new dispensary located on site at Darcie Kent. We also learned more about Shakespeare in the Vineyard from Lisa Tromovitch with SPARC. The show starts this weekend at Darcie Kent!

Thank you to all who came out. We are looking forward to the next I AM Tri-Valley!

Alameda County Fair Sponsorship

VTV is going to the fair big time this year. Between branded trussing, program ads, our table at Beer Fest, and our first Jumbotron presence, make sure you get to at least one of the many concerts to catch our opening act, the concert countdown video, encouraging visitors to “stay a little longer.” Oh, did someone say they caught a Tri-Valley Beer Trail t-shirt shot from the famous t-shirt cannon launcher? We’re having a ball! Thank you for a great partnership, Alameda County Fairgrounds!

VTV is a great place to work and inspire future generations of tourism and hospitality career paths. Matt Carter, VTV’s Summer Intern, is a local resident and incoming sophomore at Northern Arizona University majoring in Strategic Communications. Mrs. Julia Ford is the Amador High School Culinary Arts teacher shown here on Day One of her week-long ITV-LEEDS-ROP Summer Externship. VTV partnered with Innovation Tri-Valley Group for a week of food and beverage experiences with top Tri-Valley companies including our gracious hosts at Sabio on Main Restaurant, Marriott Pleasanton, Alameda County Fairgrounds, Beets Hospitality and Las Positas Vineyards. This fall’s class curriculum will include first-hand on-site training and know-how to illuminate her future hospitality-headed students. Welcome aboard!

Thanks for a great Fiscal Year 2022-23 as your marketing agency of record. Have a great summer!
