Thanks to beer drinking enthusiasts, our Spread Cheer with Beer campaign raised $1500 for Livermore Valley Craft Beer Foundation. We had 375 total signups for the pass and more than 500 check-ins at 18 participating breweries and restaurants on our Beer Trail. Shoutout to Altamont Beer Works and BottleTaps for having the most check-ins! |
Thank You to All for a Successful Winter Coat Drive |
Volunteers ready to distribute coats! |
For more than six weeks, Visit Tri-Valley spearheaded a COAT DRIVE with CityServe Tri-Valley during some of the coldest and wettest days of the winter season. Many thanks to all of you who donated! We collected dozens and dozens of new and used coats, which are being lovingly distributed to those in need. An extra shout-out to CityServe for all they do to keep individuals and families off the streets and to our coat collection centers: Four Points Sheraton Pleasanton, San Francisco Premium Outlets, and the Courtyard by Marriott Livermore. Donations and volunteers are always welcome at CityServe Tri-Valley at several convenient locations. We just started our new tradition of giving at VTV. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!

Regional Sales and Marketing Insights Shared |
Many thanks to the Marriott Pleasanton for hosting the recent Mount Diablo Hospitality Alliance (MDHA) Networking Mixer on February 9th. VTV attended along with twenty-one hoteliers, hospitality professionals and DMOs, gaining insight on Bay Area meeting trends (great report from Linda Robles, Marriott Area Sales Manager, The Peninsula) and from each other. Visit California rep Kristin Tsusaki-Reddick showed off the 2023 Visitor’s Guide highlighting a full page ad from the Mt. Diablo Region cooperative (pg 89). Contact Gary Hernbroth to join this bi-monthly regional group or request via LinkedIn.

Robin Fahr, VTV’s VP of Marketing, attended the International Media Marketplace (IMM) again this year, held at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. Forty-six destination partners and businesses participated in the California Pavilion, each delegate meeting with up to 24 key travel and lifestyle media and influencers in the jam-packed day. The following day, Robin attended a Sustainability & Networking Brunch at DotDash Meredith with 10 editors from travel, wine, and lifestyle magazines, followed by Broadcast Boom, a panel of producers & hosts at TV networks who kept us informed on what the broadcast media is looking for today.
