In-Person Sales Advisory Meetings Return |
VTV and hoteliers from all over the Tri-Valley gathered in the Danville Room in the Pleasanton Marriott |
Todd conducted his first face-to-face, hotel-hosted Sales Advisory Committee Meeting since Covid, at the Pleasanton Marriott last week. There were 14 hoteliers in attendance, and the Pleasanton Marriott really pulled out all the stops. From the Site Tour of refurbished rooms and VIP area to the delicious grazing table and chef-inspired autumnal drinks, it was great to see everyone in real life and get the latest on sales and marketing as well as new hotel updates and renovations. Thank you to all who attended and especially to the team at Pleasanton Marriott.

VTV Joins East Bay Area at World Routes |
VTV, OAK Airport, Oakland Ports, Visit Oakland and Visit Berkeley at World Routes Summit in Las Vegas |
Visit Tri-Valley’s Tracy Farhad and Robin Fahr partnered with Oakland International Airport, Visit Oakland, and Visit Berkeley to showcase reasons to “fly the East Bay way” October 15-18 in Las Vegas, NV at the World Routes Summit. Tri-Valley attributes were featured during one-on-one appointments, networking opportunities, and two afternoons of sponsored wine-tasting with Wente Vineyard wines to more than 400 airlines and airports across the globe. OAK’s new two-story pavilion and 17-member delegation made a huge impact on decision-makers looking to add airlift to Tri-Valley’s closest international airport. Cheers to Wente Vineyards for sponsoring the award-winning “wow” moments for lasting impressions!

Please Support Measure P on the November 8th Ballot
in Livermore. |
Measure P is a common-sense solution to protecting your existing groundwater. Measure P would extend sewer services in the South Livermore Valley to promote a vibrant wine country, protect groundwater, and preserve open space. It will allow for visitor serving uses like destination restaurants, a wine country resort, and wine country retail. It will also encourage investment in other medium sized wineries, all of which require a sanitary sewer connection to be feasible. These uses are essential to create demand for locally grown grapes. The construction costs of the sewer line extension would be covered by a county grant and state/federal infrastructure monies. In terms of future development, the extension of sewer services into this area would not change the South Livermore Urban Growth Boundary or increase the permitted land uses outside that boundary.
Please Vote Yes on Measure P to protect our precious open space. Click here for more information. |
The
Alameda County Small Business Recovery Grant Program is providing funding to small businesses in the county that were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible brick-and-mortar businesses can apply a one-time grant of $10,000 and eligible home-based businesses can apply for $5,000. Grant funds will not require repayment.
The program was authorized by the Alameda County Board of Supervisors when it appropriated American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds in response to and recovery from the public health emergency and negative economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is open to all eligible small businesses (1 to 25 employees) and is administered by the East Bay Economic Development Alliance (East Bay EDA) and the Alameda County Community Development Agency’s Economic & Civic Development Department.
Please visit acbusiness.org to learn about eligibility, read the FAQs, and more. The grant period closes on October 31, 2022. Program materials are available in multiple languages. |
