Tri-Valley tourism industry partners joined VTV’s Board of Directors and special guests for a roaring good time at the Blackhawk Museum in Danville for the FY21-22 Annual Luncheon. In addition to swearing in new and returning board members, Danville Mayor Newell Arnerich joined Dublin Mayor Melissa Hernandez and Pleasanton Vice Mayor Valerie Arkin for a flapper-worthy speakeasy skit “hitting on all eights.” Alongside live music, a spoken and distributed annual report, plus two guest speakers on the status of the American Traveler and VTV’s Cultural Heritage initiative, VTV recognized this year’s Spirit of Hospitality award-winners, The Core Four housekeeping crew at the Purple Orchid Resort & Spa, and Hospitality Partnership awardee, Tri-Valley Conservancy.  Many thanks to all who attended and the Blackhawk Museum for Puttin’ On the Ritz!

In this presentation, Accessibility Expert Denise Páne will take you on an interactive and enlightening journey of what “accessible” means in the online world, how to achieve it, the ROI of website accessibility, the risks of ignoring it, and why simply adding an accessibility toolbar to your website is not sufficient to protect you from lawsuits.
