Be Aware of New ADA Scams |
CHLA has been notified by many of our members that they have received letters from Kyle Wong claiming that he couldn’t use the hotel pool after having been invited “by a friend.” This is a scam that we are taking steps to address via CHLA’s ADA Protection Program. You can safely ignore these letters at this time. In the meantime, if you have received a “Kyle Wong” letter, please forward the letter to A.J. Rossitto at [email protected].
Another mass mailer, Fernando Gastelum, is claiming that there is insufficient accessibility information about the hotel on “HotelTonight.com." Please also send any letters from Fernando Gastelum to A.J. Rossitto at [email protected]. Until Mr. Gastelum actually files something, you can safely ignore those letters as well. |

Congrats to our Champions in Danville!!! While you are watching the Little League kids at Williamsport this week, just know that the age group above them, Intermediate World Series Champs, were from Danville. Our local boys beat the international champs from Seoul Korea 5-2 to win and become the first Tri-Valley team ever to win any Little League World Series! Visit Tri-Valley was proud to sponsor the tournament. |
Our Director of Sports Development, Todd Dibs, just returned from the Connect-Sports trade show. He met with more than 35 sports planners, filling the event pipeline with many state, regional and national events wanting to come to the Tri-Valley in the coming years. |

Robin Fahr and Justin Bower of the VTV Marketing Team headed out to Grand Rapids, Michigan earlier this month to attend U.S. Travel Association's Educational Seminar for Tourism Organizations (ESTO), a leading national forum where destination marketing professionals at the state, regional and local levels gain critical tools, tips, and information to help us better market and grow our destinations. Not only was it an excellent conference, but VTV won a drawing for a $500 donation to ESTO Cares, in our name. Icing on the cake!
