Thank you for supporting the renewal of your destination marketing agency – Visit Tri-Valley - for another 10 years! The Tri-Valley Tourism Marketing District was renewed following Pleasanton City Council’s meeting on May 3rd with an overwhelming 79% of petition signatures and no public dissents. This is great news for the hospitality industry in the Tri-Valley. Each assessment dollar raised (now $3.25 on each occupied room starting July 1, 2022) in the cities of Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin and the Town of Danville, will be put back in to marketing the region as a sought-after visitor destination for both leisure and business hotel stays. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Gov. Gavin Newsom Bolsters Homekey Funding by $150 Million |
From CHLA's Newsletter: Governor Gavin Newsom announced the latest in a series of awards to local government for Homekey, and with these projects, the program has surpassed 10,000 units funded since it began less than two years ago. Newsom also proposed to add $150 million in funding for Homekey, bringing the total Homekey funding to $3.75 billion. Pending legislative approval, the Governor’s additional funding for Homekey will provide a total of $1.5 billion in grants next year to local governments for thousands more Homekey units across the state. The Governor’s Roomkey and Homekey programs have already provided temporary shelter for 50,000 Californians and helped another 8,000 secure more permanent housing through the purchase of motels, hotels, and other buildings.
