Borders Have Reopened! On November 8, non-citizen travelers were permitted to enter the United States through a land border or ferry terminal for a non-essential reason, provided they are fully vaccinated and can present proof of COVID-19 vaccination status. A fact sheet that explains these new policies can be viewed here.
Also, foreign national air travelers to the United States will be required to be fully vaccinated and to provide proof of vaccination status prior to boarding an airplane to fly to the United States, with only limited exceptions. Please see all FAQs about international travel here.
CHLA Labor Vaccine Rules OSHA released the COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) requiring employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their employees have been fully vaccinated by January 4th, 2022, or employees will need to produce verified negative tests to their employer on a weekly basis. I AM Tri-Valley Returns The I AM Tri-Valley group at Blackhawk Plaza in front of Shawu the elephant at the Blackhawk Museum I AM Tri-Valley returned last Thursday, November 11 with a fun adventure through our local downtowns. The group took a tour of the Bankhead Theater (thank you Chris Carter), got some great history of Pleasanton and everything coming up in Downtown Pleasanton (thank you Jim DeMersman and Zac Grant), went back in time at Dublin Heritage Park, tasted some mouth-watering egg rolls courtesy of Thai House in Danville and got all the news of the San Francisco Premium Outlets (thank you Jennifer Koidal and Marissa Durazzo).
The I AM Tri-Valley Ambassador program is designed and dedicated to training hotel front-line staff about what the Tri-Valley region has to offer from Wine, Beer, Outdoors and Downtown/Arts.
Marketing Update Two great marketing campaigns launched this week. Caffeine for a Cause just started brewing and you have until December 31 to visit five stops along the Tri-Valley Caffeine Trail to earn a limited edition Caffeine Trail mug AND VTV will donate $20 to Culinary Angels, a local nonprofit that provides nutrient-rich meals to members of the community experiencing a serious health challenge.

It was wonderful to break bread together (literally, thank you Salt Craft), and put a couple of names with faces. Look out for details soon on the next GM Breakfast coming to Livermore in December.
Alameda County Fair Sponsorship Flags were flying high at the Alameda County Fairgrounds The Tri-Valley Beer Trail along with our new wine maps were on full display at this year's Alameda County Fair from October 22 - 31. It was great to be sponsors again of this wonderful event and we had rousing participation in our giveaway of a Family Four Pack of tickets and four concert tickets through our Social Media.
Sports Update • VTV Sports Director, Todd Dibs attended the Sports ETA conference in Birmingham, Alabama and met with 30+ sports planners.
