Welcome to our revised Visit Tri-Valley monthly newsletter. You will continue to hear from our freshly-back-to-the-office team on upcoming events, sales efforts, marketing campaigns and partner opportunities for the tourism industry. We hope you find it both informative and inspirational. Please keep in touch and have a happier summer!

Dub This Pup! Our new summer campaign has really gone to the dogs! “Dub This Pup,” a contest to name our new mascot to represent our dog-friendly destination, has already received more than 200 name ideas, all for the chance to win a weekend stay in the Tri-Valley. A big thanks to SenS Suites Livermore for providing the dog-friendly King Suite – in return, they’ve garnered 40 extra clicks from our newsletter readers, eager to find out more about a weekend stay in our beautiful region.
Got Wine? Hot off the presses is our newest Livermore Valley Wine Country Map, including all 55 tasting rooms in the Livermore Valley. We’re in the process of distributing them to all wineries and hotels, so if you’d like some of your own, please contact [email protected]. You can also download a copy here.
The Tri-Value Pass is Here The “To Tri-Valley with Love” local recovery campaign may be over, but the savings continue with the updated Tri-Value Promise Pass, free to locals and visitors alike. Good through November 15, the pass is filled with more than 100 great deals from dining and lodging to retail and services, along with special deals on wine tasting and other favorite activities. We’re updating our summer savings page which will include the pass as well as other great deals for a summer getaway in the Tri-Valley that won’t break the bank. If you’re interested in having your business on the Tri-Value Promise Pass (no fee) or would like us to publicize an exceptional rate through Labor Day, contact [email protected] right away – it’s all free publicity for Tri-Valley hotels and businesses!
People on the Move As of June, I am pleased to announce the highly deserved title change and promotion of Robin Fahr, former Director of Marketing & Communications, to Vice President of Marketing. Robin’s stellar professional performance and dedication to top-notch marketing results over four years merited her new official role as VTV’s second in command. Congratulations Robin!
I'm also pleased to announce that VTV will once again serve as the area’s contact with the film industry following 13 successful years at the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce. The move follows the recent retirement of longtime film office director Jeanie Haigh (thank you Jeanie). With this timely transition, the former Livermore Valley Film Office is now known as the Tri-Valley Film Office (thank you LVCOC Board for your stewardship!). For more information about the film office, contact certified film liaison Justin Bower at [email protected] or go to https://visittrivalley.com/filmoffice. Take two!
Off to the Races! From back row left to right: Amber Haley, Todd Dibs, Robin Fahr, Justin Bower, Tracy Farhad, Susan Bolt VTV hosted hoteliers and partners for the end-of-the-year Sales/Sports Advisory Committee meeting, at the Alameda County Fairground for opening day at the races. A good time was had by all in spite of the heat, and we even had a big winner when our very own Robin Fahr won with “Sunny Spot” for a nice payout. July has brought back a lot of sports events through our office, kicking off what looks to be a very busy year in the Tri-Valley. The Hoop Circuit basketball tournament is coming in this weekend and American Junior Golf Association comes to Ruby Hill Golf Club, July 27-29. Great to see so many inquiring about sporting events again!
