One West Tourism Alliance Conference |
VTV's Robin Fahr and Justin Bower headed to the desert in Mesa, AZ for the One West Tourism Alliance Tech Summit. Formerly DMA West, the One West conference was full of educational sessions such as digging deep into AI, revamping DMO websites and how the future of travel is female-driven. We are looking forward to the One West Education Summit in September. |
The Visit Tri-Valley team invited local marketers for a Marketing Mixer hosted at Pinot's Palette in Livermore. The event started with folks sharing updates and news from their businesses followed by some networking and of course, painting a version of "Lake Del Valle." |
VTV’s VP of Marketing & Communications, Robin Fahr, was invited by Visit California to attend the Spring 2024 San Francisco Media Reception at The Conservatory at One Sansome. Forty tourism partners around the state were chosen to help greet 81 media and influencers with the hopes of making valuable connections and encouraging FAM tours to their various regions. Robin and the VTV PR team are following up now with the most promising contacts and looking forward to some very worthwhile media visits this fall.

Todd Dibs, Sports Development Director, is traveling to Portland this week for the Sports ETA tradeshow/symposium. He will be meeting with 35+ event planners and discovering current trends in the market.
Todd held his quarterly Sales Advisory Committee meeting with 20+ hoteliers, plus guest speaker Samantha Maria from CSI DMC, a few weeks ago. We want to thank our hosts at the DoubleTree-Pleasanton and the staff for going above and beyond, showing why they are a first-class property and a great partner. |
Last month, Wheels rolled out expanded weekend service, seamless BART connectivity, and even new routes bringing the benefits of transit to more Tri-Valley communities.
Commuters will benefit from adjusted Rapid bus frequencies aligned with the new 20-minute BART train schedules. New neighborhood routes are being introduced like Route 4 serving Central Dublin and Route 18 serving South Livermore. Reinstated routes that were suspended due to the pandemic include Route 11 serving Greenville and Route 580X between Livermore and BART. Click here for more information.
