I AM Tri-Valley: Mt. Diablo |
On November 2, hoteliers and VTV staff boarded a wonderful coach courtesy of Black Tie Transportation and headed to Mt. Diablo. We stretched our legs while visiting Elephant Rock and then headed to the summit for an educational tour with Mt. Diablo State Park Volunteer Interpreter Sharon Peterson.
With breathtaking views and easy accessibility, our hoteliers are very excited to share their experience with visitors.
Thank you to all who came out. We are looking forward to the next I AM Tri-Valley! |
Winter Coat Drive Has Begun |
We are proud to partner with City Serve once again this year for their Winter Coat Drive! Help us spread the word by printing out this flier and posting it in your place of business. |
VTV hosted 20+ hoteliers at the Aloft Dublin-Pleasanton for the Sales Advisory meeting run by Todd Dibs. Special thanks to Manuel, Angela, and the staff at Aloft for hosting us and to Jennifer Koidal and Jessica Cadberry from Simon Properties for presenting to attendees all the advantages in partnering with SF Premium Outlets for their guests and groups. |
VTV Sales Team Tackles Two Tradeshows |
VTV’s new Group Sales Manager, Hillary Bamont, represented the Tri-Valley during two days of appointments with 25 corporate and event meeting planners during the CONNECT WEST tradeshow in San Francisco earlier this month. At the same time, VTV CEO, Tracy Farhad, met with 30 tour operators from China (along with a translator, thank goodness), during the return of Connect’s Active America China tradeshow. Interest was high for Tri-Valley’s great rates, easy accessibility, and bounty of attractions from both markets. Thanksgiving came early this month for VTV’s sales efforts. Stay tuned for the follow-up action.

Mount Diablo Hospitality Alliance Annual Holiday Mixer |
The MDHA Holiday Mixer will be taking place at Danville's LUNA LOCA Mexican Restaurant located at 500 Sycamore Valley Rd on Thursday, December 7th starting at 5:30pm. Cocktails and dinner on your own.
Like last year, MDHA will be participating along with the restaurant in the "Coats and Cocktails" holiday charity program, asking everyone to bring at least one new or gently used coat or sweater to help those less fortunate in our area.
The MDHA was originally formed in 2008 and includes colleagues from many aspects of this region’s hospitality community such as hotels, CVBs, audio-visual, industry consultants, tour companies, wine trolley, attractions, etc. They meet every two months in various places within the region for coffee and discussion on group/visitor/traveler opportunities, promotions and ways of working together. The meet-ups are complimentary and there are no dues to pay.
