Our Mission: To foster, promote, market, and service our community as a quality destination.
October 25, 2021 THANK YOU...
Steve Carignan Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center
for your wonderful partnership! “Increasing tourism and quality of life are demanding tasks. Bringing people to our community and keeping people and discretionary spending in our community both require a broad spectrum of activities and opportunities that appeal to the whole demographic spectrum. Communities that do well at this have a healthy spectrum of athletic and cultural entertainment as well as outdoor activities in addition to an array of hotels and a broad array of food and beverage opportunities. But just having these opportunities isn’t enough.
Successful communities like ours have storytellers, people who advertise and communicate with targeted travelers, tempting them with the spectrum of opportunities their community offers. For the Gallagher Bluedorn the Cedar Falls Tourism and Visitors Bureau is an invaluable partner in telling our story.
Shared advertising, the coordination of hotel/restaurant/show packaging and sales, tour group sales and the maintenance of the Cedar Valley’s best events calendar are the most obvious places we collaborate but there is more to it that than. Working together with its many partners the Bureau has been at the heart of bringing major events like RAGBRAI to Cedar Falls. The CVTVB’s boards and committee help leaders and staffers from Cedar Falls businesses and attractions stay connected and develop collaboration and leadership skills. Finally, by providing grant support with an investment mindset the Bureau supports its partners directly on key marketing projects.
The Cedar Falls Tourism and Visitors Bureau is the collaborative hub that enables attractions and businesses to work together to support tourism, attract employees and businesses and make our community a great place to live.” ~Steve Carignan, Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center – Executive Director The Gallagher Bluedorn recently announced the Spring 2022 artist series season!
