The Cedar Falls Tourism & Visitors Bureau is hiring! Duties will include advertising and media purchasing, website and social media channel maintenance, leisure focused newsletter creation and assisting travel writers. For more information, go to cedarfalls.com.

Get ready to welcome 14 high school
marching bands on October 9 for the Bands of America Iowa Regional Championship at the UNI-Dome.
The bands will perform in a preliminary competition, starting at 10:30am (doors open at 10am). The top 12 scoring bands advance to the evening’s finals and the naming of the 2021 Bands of America Regional Champion. This is the second Bands of America competition held in Iowa. In 2019, more than 8,000 people attended this event at the UNI-Dome. For ticket information, click here.

We are now accepting applications for Community Betterment Grants through October 29 at 4pm. Local not-for-profit
organizations are invited to apply for projects that improve the image of Cedar Falls or enhance the quality of life for its residents. Eligible projects can include special equipment purchases as well as capital improvements, including new construction, renovation, restoration, and installation of fixtures. Halloween is fast approaching and we’ll be promoting "spooktacular" events taking place in the Cedar Valley. These events will be shared with our more than 7,500 monthly website visitors, our 10,000+ social media followers, along with the Iowa Tourism Office.
