Looking forward to looking ahead.
During this time of social distancing we need to let you in on a little secret. We miss you a lot, and we're really looking forward to the day when we can welcome you back to Roswell with open doors and open arms.
In the meantime, we want to share some incredible things that have been happening around our town. Our partners are coming up with creative ways to help others on a daily basis, it seems, and we want to share that good news with you. Check out the stories below and be sure to help spread the news of these heartwarming ideas.
- Table & Aid at Table & Main, one of our staple restaurants, is offering free hot meals to the food insecure, no questions asked, Tuesday-Sunday. Read more about Table & Aid.
- Drive-thru farmers market at From the Earth Brewing Company. Pre-order boxes of fresh produce and pick up on Tuesdays and Fridays. Click here for more details.
- Community advocates partnered together to create the Roswell School Meal Program. Patrons can purchase gift cards from particpating restaurants and ask for it to be applied to the School Meal Program. This helps feed school children during this time of uncertainty. Another option is to purchase a lawn sign that reads, "Together We Are Roswell." All profits goes towards the campaign as well. For an up to date list of restaurants, visit their Facebook page.
Chattahoochee Nature Center
Check out the Chattahoochee Nature Center's Instagram stories to see what their Wildlife Department has been up to while taking care of their animals.
From the Earth Brewing Company
Take in a concert from the comfort of your car while social distancing. Check out Jeff Mosier at From the Earth on Sunday, April 5. Click below for more details and to purchase tickets.
CREATE A CARE PACKAGE FOR YOURSELF WITH LOCAL RETAIL
Like we mentioned earlier, Roswell buisinesses are getting creative. Local coffee shops are offering drive-thrus, breweries are offering curbside crowler pick-ups, florists are offering mason jar bouquets at your doorstep and retailers offer online or contactless shopping options. There are multiple ways to support Roswell businesses, so seek them out on Facebook or start on our website to get some ideas.
