The 2024 Business Acumen Series – The Complete Grant Navigator: From AI Tools to Holistic Tactics Leveraging Technology for High-Impact Proposals | 9:00 AM
Organizer: University of Mary Washington Continuing & Professional Studies Department Location: UMW - Stafford Campus
Let’s be honest—you do what you do because you believe in making a difference, not because you were dreaming of writing grant proposals in your free time. Every non-profit loves the moment a grant is awarded—it’s the fuel for your mission. But the process to get there, the actual grant writing, well, that’s rarely anyone’s passion project. And that’s exactly what we’re here to tackle. We’re not just going to write grants; we’re going to master a system that makes grant writing less of a chore and more of a powerful tool to secure the funding your organization needs to thrive.
In this course, we’re going to unpack the not-so-secret world of successful grant systems. It’s about seeing the forest, not just the individual trees. We’ll get your entire organization aligned—from the metrics you track to the stories you tell. We’ll show you how to turn data into compelling narratives and budgets into stories about your future success. This isn’t about getting good at writing a grant; it’s about getting great at winning them. Speaker: Matt Leighty, Leighty & Associates. |
