From the “idea” stage to the “growth-ready” stage, we are here to offer programs and guidance. When it is time to consider how to finance your growing business, we will work with you, your bank, and other agencies focused on business financing.

The Stafford EDA has approved three business loans in 2022 totaling $158,000 in direct economic investment into new Stafford businesses. These new and growing businesses to Stafford are Vitae Visuals, Up North Kutz and Embrey Mill Urgent and Primary Care. The EDA’s investment leverages over $170,000 in private equity or cash investments into these growing companies.

Please join us for a meeting of minds to learn about the efforts of leaders across Stafford County to develop a High School pathway in which our young people earn 4 CompTIA Certifications upon graduation and an Associate’s Degree within their first year of Higher Education through a pathway called, Cyber 4+. |

Calling All Innovators and Start-Ups |

| RIoT - Focused on Entrepreneurs. RIoT is looking for technology startups in all industry sectors. They have supported tech startups in public safety, environmental monitoring, healthcare, manufacturing, consumer products, and more. Ideal startups will have at least validated a proof of concept and are beginning to attract and pilot with early customers (but are typically pre-revenue).
RAP gives startups access to high quality business and technical resources and a hands-on mentorship network. Through our 12-week high touch programming, companies will learn first principles and how to best position their companies for growth and success. Upon completion of the program, startups will then pitch their companies to city officials, investment representatives, and military and defense components. Deadline for applications is Thursday, September 15 at 5:00 PM. |
