VISIT BIG BEAR NOTICE OF
BOARD ELECTION
Dear TBID & Supporting Members,
Pursuant to Article VI of the Visit Big Bear bylaws, at the June 25, 2026, Annual Membership Meeting, Board of Directors elections will be held for – (1) Board member from traditional lodging members, (1) Board member from private home management members, and (1) Board member from supporting members/businesses. To be qualified to be a member of the Board of Directors, a person must represent a member business in good standing.
Each candidate must have three (3) support signatures from member businesses in their category and are encouraged to submit a 150-word statement for the position. At the Annual Meeting, an open forum will be conducted for all candidates to speak. At the Annual Meeting, additional nominations for election to the Board will be accepted from any members entitled to vote (the 3 support signatures are required at that time also).
If you wish to run for a Board seat, please deliver an original document including: your name, business represented, address, phone number, email address, the three (3) original support signatures and your 150-word statement to the Visit Big Bear office at – hand delivery: Visit Big Bear, Attn: Stephanie Thoth, 40824 Big Bear Blvd, Big Bear Lake, Ca 92315, OR, via USPS mail: Visit Big Bear, Attn: Stephanie Thoth, P.O. Your Original Copy MUST be delivered and received at the Visit Big Bear office, by 5 pm, Wednesday, May 20, 2026, to qualify for the 2026 Elections.
