4th of July Fireworks Celebration

July 4 @the Grounds, Roseville

End your Independance Day with a spectacular fireworks show @the Grounds in Roseville! Gates open at 4:00 pm, with family-friendly activities, games, and concessions leading up to the main event. Fireworks light up the sky between 9:15 and 9:30 pm. General admission is free, but preferred seating in the covered grandstands is $5 per person (cash or card). Bring your blanket or low-profile chairs and arrive early - parking is $15 (cash or card), but space is limited. Please note that coolers, outside food or drinks, and personal fireworks are not allowed. Let’s celebrate together with a night full of fun and fireworks!

MADE Hoops Basketball Tournaments

July 11-12 & July 16-19 @the Grounds, Roseville

MADE Hoops takes over the Roebbelen Center this July with two premier basketball events that bring top talent, college recruiters, and high-level competition to Roseville. The action tips off July 11–12 with the MADE Hoops West Nationals, where standout athletes compete in front of scouts and college coaches from across the country. The excitement continues the following week with the West Live Finale, an official NCAA Live Event showcasing elite players and nonstop action on the hardwood. These tournaments not only deliver exciting competition but also highlight the impact of sports tourism throughout Placer Valley.

All-Star Tournaments keeps the softball excitement going all July long with competition taking place across all four weekends of the month throughout Placer Valley.

July 4–5: Queen of Diamonds
July 11–12 & 17–19: West Coast Nationals
July 25–26: Easton Classic

A major driver of sports tourism in the region, All-Star Tournaments generated nearly 1,500 hotel room nights last year, delivering a significant economic impact for local businesses. With teams, families, and fans filling our ballfields all month long, July is shaping up to be another exciting season on the diamond in Placer Valley.

Senior Softball Western Nationals

July 28 - August 2, Various Fields in Placer Valley,  Sacramento & Elk Grove

The Senior Softball Western Nationals return to the Placer Valley region for the 14th year! This weeklong tournament features men’s and women’s divisions for athletes ages 40 to 85+, drawing teams from across the U.S. and beyond. In 2025, the event generated over 1,000 room nights in Placer Valley hotels and brought thousands of players, fans, and officials to the region. Games are free for the public to attend and span multiple age brackets and skill levels, making it one of the largest and most dynamic senior softball events on the West Coast.
