Hype Con offers something for everyone and promises a fun-filled experience for collectors, fans, and families alike. WCVBA: Girls Power League

April 11-12 @the Grounds, Roseville

The West Coast Volleyball Association Power League is coming back to the Roebbelen Center @the Grounds on April 11–12, continuing its tradition of bringing top volleyball talent to Placer Valley. WCVBA events consistently fill our hotels, generating thousands of room nights each year and showcasing our region as a premier destination for youth and amateur sports. Athletes from across Northern California will compete in multiple divisions, ages 11-15, and an 18s WCVBA Championship. With events like this returning year after year, the Roebbelen Center proves why it is a go-to venue for high-level sports tournaments.

US Quadball Cup 2026

April 18-19 at the Placer Valley Soccer Complex, Roseville

The US Quadball Cup ‘26 comes to the Placer Valley Soccer Complex on April 18–19, marking the first major adult tournament at the new facility. Nearly 50 teams and 1,000 athletes from across the country will compete in the fast-paced, full-contact sport overseen by US Quadball. Placer Valley Tourism helped bring the event to the region, showcasing the complex and boosting the local economy by an estimated $2 million. Fans can enjoy games alongside a festival atmosphere with food trucks, vendors, and more. This event highlights Placer Valley as a growing destination for major sports tournaments.

Iron Rose FC

April 18 & 25 at West Park High School, Roseville

The region’s premier semi-professional soccer club, Iron Rose FC, returns this spring with an exciting slate of matches. The club’s men’s team competes in The League for Clubs and features a brand new, dynamic squad led by well-known coach Paul Ramirez, promising fast-paced matches filled with skillful moments, attacking play, and nonstop action.

Home games are played at West Park High School’s Panther Stadium, creating a fun and affordable game-night atmosphere for families, youth teams, and soccer fans from across the region.

In May, Iron Rose FC’s women’s teams take the field, with the first team competing in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) and a development squad hosting four matches at Mahany Park.
