The 2025 Byers Xcel Regional Gymnastics Championships are officially underway, bringing top athletes from across California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona to Placer Valley for four days of high-level competition. Hosted by Byers Roseville Gymnastics Club and sanctioned by USA Gymnastics, this event features gymnasts competing in Xcel divisions ranging from Gold to Sapphire, which represent a broad spectrum of advanced skill levels. Thousands of athletes, coaches, and families attend each year, generating a strong tourism boost for hotels, restaurants, and businesses across Roseville, Rocklin, and Lincoln

This May, @the Grounds in Roseville will host two high-level NCVA volleyball events in the Roebbelen Center. The Power League (May 10-11) will showcase 16s girls' teams in intense competition, while the Bay View Classic (May 24-26) will feature top boys' and girls' teams across multiple age groups. With an expected total of 1,900+ room nights, these events will bring significant value to our 25 PVT hotels and drive growth in local tourism, strengthening Placer Valley's position as a premier sports destination.

The Lincoln Potters are gearing up for an exciting 2025 season with 33 home games at Historic McBean Stadium, including two Movie Nights, five Fireworks Nights, and the return of Fan Fest on May 23. Kicking off with Opening Night on May 24, presented by Gladding-McBean, the season will also feature the West Coast World Series from August 2-5. As a proud supporter of the Potters, Placer Valley Tourism is excited to help bring this action-packed season to the local community.
