The United States Tennis Association (USTA) 18+ Mixed League Sectionals, hosted at Johnson Ranch Sports Club from October 4-6, will showcase top tennis teams from Northern California vying for a chance to qualify for the USTA National Championships. As the governing body for tennis in the United States, the USTA promotes and organizes leagues and tournaments across the country, fostering a strong competitive environment and enhancing participation in the sport. Last year, USTA events contributed over 470 hotel room nights in Roseville, Rocklin, and Lincoln, highlighting their positive impact on local tourism.

Get ready for the NCVA Boys Volleyball Tournament, League #2, on October 19-20 at @the Grounds in Roseville! This high-energy event brings teams from across Northern California and Northern Nevada for a weekend of top-tier competition. Last year, boys volleyball tournaments generated over 1,500 total room nights in Placer Valley hotels. The Roebbelen Center has become a key venue for helping grow boys' volleyball, particularly in California, which leads the nation with more high school and club teams than any other state. With participation up 20% in U.S. high schools over the last decade (NCAA), the sport is reaching new heights!

Placer United, in partnership with adidas, is excited to welcome girls' soccer teams' participation in the Placer United Girls Cup, set for October 26-27. This premier tournament offers competitive divisions and draws top talent from across California, Oregon, Idaho, and Nevada. As the largest fall event in Northern California, the Placer United Girls Cup consistently features State Cup Champions, finalists, semi-finalists, and quarter-finalists, ensuring top-tier competition. Each year, Placer welcomes around 1,500 players in the U11-U19 age groups, and generating approximately 500 hotel room nights in Placer Valley.

During National Housekeeping Week, the PVT staff proudly supported the hardworking housekeepers at the 24 hotels in Roseville, Rocklin, and Lincoln. They were treated to goodies from Bad Bakers in Roseville as a token of appreciation. |
