Placer Valley Tourism is proud to once again be the presenting sponsor of the 4th Annual West Coast World Series, running August 3-6 at Historic McBean Stadium in Lincoln. This premier invitational tournament features six top summer collegiate baseball teams competing in an exciting 3-game guarantee format. As bracket play progresses, including the Championship game on August 6, fans can look forward to an exhilarating weekend of high-level baseball right here in Placer Valley.

August 10-11 @the Grounds

Explore the fascinating world of reptiles at the Reptilian Nation Expo, August 10-11, @the Grounds in Roseville! Spanning over 100,000 square feet, this massive event will feature over a hundred vendors showcasing a diverse array of reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, and isopods. Discover everything from ball pythons and geckos to dart frogs and exotic plants.

General admission is $20 (ages 12+), with child tickets at $10 (ages 3-11) and military tickets at $10 (with ID). Admission is available from 10am-6pm on Saturday and 10am-5pm on Sunday.

The Crush Bonspiel

August 30-September 2 at Skatetown Ice Arena

Experience the excitement of curling at The Crush Bonspiel, hosted by Wine Country Curling Club, from August 30 to September 2 at Skatetown Ice Arena in Roseville. This annual event features 32 teams competing in a 4-game guarantee format, showcasing the strategic and team-oriented sport of curling, where players slide granite stones toward a target while teammates sweep the ice. Wine Country Curling Club, founded in Vacaville in 2007 and now based in Roseville, is dedicated to promoting curling through various programs, including wheelchair, senior, and junior curling. With around 100 members and some of the best arena ice on the West Coast, they offer a vibrant and engaging curling experience.
