Fireworks are back this 4th of July @the Grounds! Gates open at 4:00 pm with fireworks starting at approximately 9:30. Enjoy a fun community night with free admission and $15 parking, with additional parking available at the Downtown Roseville Parking Garage. Note that parking will be extremely limited, so carpooling is highly encouraged. Experience an unforgettable evening of fireworks, fun, and community celebration. Bringing premier basketball competition to Placer Valley, the inaugural Capitol Showcase will be held from July 12-15, at the Roebbelen Center in Roseville. This highly anticipated event will feature over 80 teams from across the West Coast, spanning age groups such as 17U, 16U, 15U, and Jr. High divisions. It marks a significant milestone as Placer Valley hosts this prestigious tournament for the first time, showcasing top-tier talent and exciting matchups over four action-packed days of basketball excellence.

Senior Softball Western Nationals |

The Senior Softball Western Nationals are back from July 30-August 4, at various parks including Foskett Regional Park, Lincoln Hills Softball Complex, Mahany Park, Maidu Regional Park, Hal Bartholomew Sports Park, and the Sacramento Softball Complex. This "Ring Option" tournament features a minimum of five games initially scheduled, with teams progressing through Round Robin into Double Elimination, Three-Game-Guarantee brackets, or other formats. The Men's 65/70/75/80 teams will play from July 30-August 1, and the Men's 40/50/55/60 and Women's 40/50/55 teams will compete from August 2-4. Get ready for a week of intense competition and camaraderie, expected to generate over 500 room nights in our Placer Valley hotels.
