With a guaranteed minimum of four games, the event promises an exciting blend of pool play and playoffs. This is a major basketball event coming to the area, where you can witness top-notch talent and impressive teamwork on display.

The Placer United Girls Cup, an annual soccer tournament sponsored by Adidas, returns October 28-29 at the Cherry Island Soccer Complex. With a range of divisions catering to all skill levels, including Super, Premier, Gold, Silver, and Bronze, this tournament draws top-notch teams from California, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, and Alaska. It holds the distinction of being the largest Fall Soccer event in northern California boasting numerous State Cup Champions, finalists, semi-finalists, and quarter-finalists. Typically, this event sees an average of approximately 150 teams across various age groups, from U11 to U19 and draws in around 600 room nights to Placer Valley hotels.

The inaugural Tour de Lincoln was held May 2002, sponsored by the Lincoln Volunteer Center, beginning as a benefit bike ride, and growing to over 600 cyclists participating. The Tour offers a wonderful day of riding the scenic back roads of Lincoln and South Placer County. Great updated routes this year! The ride is fee based and includes a continental breakfast, well stocked rest stops, SAG and mechanical support along the routes. There is a great post-ride BBQ lunch with beer and wine available. Make sure to check out the race and cheer on those in your community taking part of the Tour de Lincoln on October 21.
