Placer Valley is preparing to host the inaugural Superior Showcase Summer World Series from July 3-8. Organized by Superior Showcase Softball, this event will attract 23 teams from the western states. Over the course of six exciting days, our community can anticipate a boost in tourism with over 100 room nights booked in local hotels. In addition, 11 college recruiters from prestigious institutions across the United States will be on the lookout for exceptional talent at this highly anticipated showcase.

Get ready for the upcoming California Capital Aquatics: CA/NV Speedo Sectionals at the Roseville Aquatic Complex! From July 13-16, swimmers from California and Nevada will compete in a prestigious tournament sponsored by USA Swimming and Sierra Nevada Swimming. This event promises top-level swimming with exciting preliminary and finals sessions. As the adrenaline-packed weekend unfolds, it will also bring a significant tourism boost to Placer Valley, with the meet expected to generate over 300 hotel room nights.

USA National Pickleball Sacramento Classic |

Johnson Ranch Sports Club is set to host the first National Pickleball Sacramento Classic tournament on July 21-23. This event will attract local players from Sacramento, as well as from the Bay Area, Reno, and Lake Tahoe. With approximately 300 amateur players expected to participate, the tournament promises intense competition and enthusiastic energy. Hosting the USA National Pickleball Sacramento Classic further solidifies Placer Valley as a vibrant hub for Pickleball tournaments, as the sport continues to surge in popularity nationwide. This USA Pickleball sanctioned tournament is projected to generate 50 room nights, contributing to the growth of tourism in the area.
