JAMZ Cheer Adrenaline

January 7 @the Grounds

We've got something to CHEER about! JAMZ Cheer & Dance is back @the Grounds with the Adrenaline Championships on January 7. Cheer and dance competitions are growing drivers of tourism to our region and generated over 1,300 room nights in our Placer Valley hotels in 2022!

USA Softball of Sacramento

Youth Fastpitch Tournaments

Starting January 7 at Kathy Lund Park, Rocklin

USA Softball of Sacramento will kick off their 2023 season with the Gold Championship Qualifier in Rocklin on January 7. Ten more USA Softball Youth Fastpitch events will take place on Placer Valley fields by July, 2023. Last year, USA Softball generated over 560 room nights in Rocklin, Roseville, and Lincoln hotels!

NorCal Winter Classic

January 13 @the Grounds

Starting the New Year off strong with the 2023 NorCal Winter Classic! This SOLD OUT event features 3 days of tournaments held exclusively @the Grounds on January 14-16. The 2022 NorCal Winter Classic generated over 800 room nights in Placer Valley hotels. This year, over 400 teams are expected to come out to the Roebbelen center for some fierce competition!

USTA Combo Sectionals

January 13-15 at Johnson Ranch

The USTA Adult League Combo Sectionals will be hosted at Johnson Sports Club. With more than 300,000 players taking part each year, USTA Leagues offer the country’s largest adult competitive tennis league. The Combo Sectionals are the first of many USTA events hosted at Johnson Ranch this year, bringing some serious tourism to our region.

SNS Senior Winter Championships

February 3-5 at Roseville Aquatics Complex

California Capital Aquatics will once again host the Sierra Nevada Swimming(SNS) Senior Winter Championships this year! This short-course championship meet will take place on February 3-5, 2023 at the Roseville Aquatics Complex and expects around 300-400 swimmers.
