Placer Artists Studios Tour

Starts November 11 in Placer County

Celebrating its 29th year, the Placer Artists Studios Tour is the largest and longest-standing Visual Art Studio Tour in the region. The tour was founded 29 years ago by Helen Phillips, in order to connect artists with each other and with the public, share artistic processes, and sell art. Many artists have launched careers over the years by participating in this annual tour.

New this year! There are now TWO weekends to enjoy the Placer Artists Studios Tour. Come check it out on November 11-13 & 18-20, 2022.

Brick Palooza

November 12-13 @the Grounds

Calling all LEGO® fans, the Brick Palooza is back @the Grounds! Come experience the LEGO® festival, exhibition, and celebration for children and adult LEGO® fans of all ages! Exhibits, play areas, robotics demonstrations, vendors, food & fun for the whole family. Meet the master builders & artists behind amazing LEGO® creations. Vendors will be selling all kinds of LEGO® related products. From new and used sets, to vintage and classic. Get your bulk LEGO® by the pound, individual minifigs, jewelry, t-shirts, and so much more!

JAMZ Cheer & Dance

November 12-13, @the Grounds

November gives us something to CHEER about, JAMZ is back @the Grounds! JAMZ is a premier national cheer and dance organization that brings big competition to Placer Valley. The Battle at the Capitol on November 12 and the Capitol City Championship on November 13 are qualifiers for the JAMZ Youth & School Nationals. Last year, these cheer events generated over 230 room nights to our Placer Valley hotels.

Registration is now open for the 2022 Santa Hustle Roseville! It’s the MOST wonderful time of the year! So, find that Christmas spirit and join us on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Vernon Street Town Square for the Santa Hustle Roseville 5K, Half Marathon, and Kids Dash.

Women's West Coast Tournament of Champions

Women's West Coast TOC

December 16-17 @the Grounds

The sport of women's wrestling is exploding and we are proud to host our own premier, all-female wrestling tournament right here in Placer Valley! The Women's West Coast Tournament of Champions (WWCTOC) sponsored by Cliff Keen is open to middle school, high school (Varsity and JV), and college wrestlers. Wrestling will take place Friday, December 16 - Saturday, December 17 at the Roebbelen Center @the Grounds. A college showcase is hosted on both days for wrestlers and college coaches to meet!

Major Projects Program

January 1 - March 31, 2023

Placer Valley Tourism realizes that featuring first class facilities and equipment are an important factor in bringing events to our region which is why we have developed a major projects funding program to encourage and assist in the development and/or improvement of facilities ensuring a competitive edge. Applications for the 2023 year will be accepted January 1 - March 31, 2023.
