California Capital Aquatics (CCA) will host their annual Spooktacular Age Group Meet on October 7-9 at the Roseville Aquatics Complex! There will be over 800 swimmers from the Northern California and Northern Nevada regions and over 30 teams represented at this 3-day meet. CCA has hosted this event for over 25 years and we are looking forward to what may be one of the largest Spooktacular events in years. Mark your calendars for this spooky meet!

The Placer United Girls Cup soccer tournament sponsored by Adidas will take place October 28-30, 2022. Over 150 teams are expected to compete in Placer Valley, traveling from across California, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, and Alaska.
This is one of the largest events offered in the Fall in northern California, boasting numerous State Cup Champions, finalists, semi-finalists, and quarter-finalists. The Girls Cup tournament is also a big driver for room nights, typically filling over 1,000 hotel rooms in our region each year! |

California Cosmic Bash Wrestling Tournament

First-time event in the Roebbelen Center! RMN Events introduces the California Cosmic Bash wrestling tournament @the Grounds in Roseville on October 29. This K-12th Folkstyle wrestling event is presented by the United States Marine Corps and expects over 1,000 wrestlers from 17 states! If you would like to come see the action for yourself, general admission is $15 per person. |

The 20th annual Tour de Lincoln will take place Saturday, October 15, offering a wonderful day of riding the scenic back roads of Placer Valley. The Tour features three courses: The Metric Quarter Century (~16 miles), The Metric Half Century (~32 miles), and the Metric Century (~63 miles). Over 600 cyclists are expected to participate this year.
Participants' ride entry fees include a continental breakfast, well stocked rest stops, SAG and mechanical support along the routes. Not to mention a great post-ride BBQ lunch with beer and wine will be available! Non-rider activities include shopping in Historic Downtown Lincoln, local beer and wine tasting, McBean Park playground, and two beautiful public golf courses within two miles. |

A national search was conducted for the high-profile position, with more than 300 applicants. The organizations’ boards met on September 19 and unanimously approved the hiring of Kim Summers.
