National Tourism Week

Now in it's 14th year, National Tourism Week takes place this week - April 15th to 19th, orchestrated by Tourism Industry Association of Canada highlighting the pivotal role of tourism in Canada.

The call to action for this year is a pledge to maintain the strength, resilience and importance of tourism in Canada's economy and cultural identity.

Ways that you can get involved:

  • Go Green: light up green to raise awareness, snap a few pics and share them on social media using #TourismWeekCanada2024 and #GoGreen (colour hex code #8BC53F)
  • Get Social: use TIAC's social media shareables and messages of support to your followers
  • Share A Video Message: upload a video to showcase the importance of tourism and its contribution to community and the unique experiences available
  • Spread The Word: use the toolkit resources to share consistent messaging

In addition to social media channels ‘going green’,  make sure you follow us on LinkedIn as we will be sharing stories about the industry and our stakeholder partners.
