The Staycation Expo is the unofficial kick off to the tourism season in Windsor Essex - your opportunity to showcase your experiences and attractions in partnership with Devonshire Mall.

Taking place Friday April 25th & Saturday April 26th at Devonshire Mall, this expo is the opportunity to showcase all of the great things to see and do in the region to locals & visitors alike.

Each year the Expo welcomes 60k visitors - a captive audience of locals and visitors alike to learn about your business or attraction!

Register now to receive your space. Space is limited and first-come first-served. Your space will include an approximately 10' x 10' booth space including table in a themed zone, and also be featured in our Staycation Passport promotion encouraging visitors to explore all the zones at the Expo for the chance to win a $500 Devonshire Mall shopping spree!

REMINDER: Join us for a FREE three part series on learning more about what Cycle Tourism means to our region with our partners from Ontario By Bike, Ontario’s Southwest, Great Waterfront Trail Adventure, and Alternative Sales Solutions with funding from FedDev Ontario.

Cycle Tourism is BIG in Windsor Essex – and it’s about to get bigger with the opening of the Gordie Howe International Bridge!

Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island has big plans for late-2025 and 2026 profiling cycle tourism to both Canadian and U.S. travellers, including a new Cycle Tourism Map, enhanced trails across the region and a relaunch of visitwindsoressex.com/bike. 

We are offering THREE complimentary workshops to learn more about what Cycle Tourism means to the region. Sign up for one or all three – centrally located workshops to educate and inspire!

Tourism Opportunities Forum 

TIAO (Tourism Industry Association of Ontario) will be hosting a one-day, high-impact event designed for tourism businesses, municipalities, provincial policy leaders, and destination partners to collaboratively seize current tourism growth opportunities. 

The Tourism Opportunities Forum will take place on Monday April 7th at the Enercare Centre in Toronto. This year's forum will focus on growth and productivity, with tactical sessions that will help you turn insight into action. 

Gordon Orr, CEO of Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island, will be a featured panelist during the Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) session addressing shared challenges and opportunities with implementing a MAT.
