Resources for COVID-19 Coronavirus
Visitor safety is Visit Jacksonville’s top priority and we are monitoring the COVID-19 Coronavirus situation closely and taking this very seriously. Visit Jacksonville is working with local health officials to provide the latest updates and we echo the advice of US & Florida Health officials to follow CDC travel recommendations, wash your hands often, avoid close contact with people who are sick and stay home if you are feeling ill.
Like most destinations around the country, Visit Jacksonville is not actively advertising or promoting the destination. We will evaluate our advertising plan for the rest of the year as more information is known. These are unprecedented moments for the travel industry and public safety comes first. Rest assured that when the time is right, we will once again actively promote our destination to the world and encourage everyone to experience all the attractions and events that make Jacksonville one of the best destinations in Florida.
We have created a resources page that will be regularly updated. We invite you to view it at the link below. We also have included a link to share information on your canceled business so we can begin to track the economic impact this is having on our destination. Feel free to contact us with questions at any time.
– Michael Corrigan, President and CEO of Visit Jacksonville.
