We are currently in the process of updating our Visit Jacksonville Front-Line Employees’ Attraction Program. The program is designed to provide all front-line staff in Jacksonville the opportunity to experience our local attractions, be educated on things-to-do in the area and be better able to speak with visitors on all the fun activities they can experience while vacationing in Jacksonville.
Here's how it works:
If your business would like to be a part of the FLEAP program please complete the participation form and return it to Visit Jacksonville no later than Friday, February 14, 2020.
BIG SPLASH IN SPORTS Visit Jacksonville was recently granted an increased budget of $350,000 from the Tourist Development Council to be used to recruit sporting events to Jacksonville. Our Sales team is dedicated to helping venues connect with sports tournaments, events and conferences. Sports tourism is a fast-growing tourism trend and has the potential to increase economic impact and make Jax an even stronger sports destination. VISIT FLORIDA is in Jacksonville this week for Florida Huddle, a three-day, one-on-one appointment trade show connecting international buyers, wholesalers and media from all over the world with top Florida destinations, hotels, resorts, attractions, and event suppliers. We welcome the 500+ Florida Huddle attendees to Jax this week! GIDDY UP Hats off to Jacksonville Equestrian Center, who opened their new outdoor covered arena last week. The center doubled the amount of covered arena space available. We are excited to see the venue possibilities bloom in this sports center on the Westside. WHAT'S HAPPENING? Our event calendar is one of the most heavily trafficked pages on our site, featuring events that appeal to all visitors. We have developed a quick snapshot of the best events to share with visitors looking for something new and exciting to experience.
