The Symphonic Series concerts will occur across three venues: First Congregational Church of Berkeley, The Berkeley Community Theater, and Zellerbach Hall. And, for the first time, Chamber Series programs will be performed twice: on Sunday afternoons at the Piedmont Center for the Arts, and Monday evenings at the Berkeley Symphony's newest venue, the Freight & Salvage. Every Second Sunday of the month through September, Telegraph Avenue celebrates it all with fun activities, local shops, restaurants, and inimitable vibe. There's live music and more, including the return of the Telegraph Boba Bears. Second Sundays are sponsored by Telegraph Berkeley and the City of Berkeley.

T. REX ROARS INTO BERKELEY AT THE LAWRENCE |
The Lawrence Hall of Science goes full Jurassic Park this summer with the world premiere of T. REX 3D. The film, screening on The Lawrence's new 3D Theater, reimagines our understanding of the legendary Tyrannosaurus rex through pioneering visual effects and work with top scientists and paleontologists. With hat tips to famous specimens, landmark discoveries, and wild cinematic T. rex depictions over the last century, the film also brings to life a cast of prehistoric characters, including Rex’s archrival, Triceratops; Quetzalcoatlus, one of the largest animals ever to take flight; and the 25-foot-long Sinraptor, a species that likely fed on early tyrannosaurs. The Lawrence Hall of Science is UC Berkeley’s public science center and a learning lab — a place where world-class researchers engage with critical questions and significant challenges facing science, technology, engineering, and math education. The Lawrence’s mission is to inspire and engage through scientific discovery and learning to advance equity and opportunity. Fun fact: every year, The Lawrence provides the science curriculum for 25% of US students through its standards-based curriculum and model programs for learners and educators.
