| | SOLANO STROLL RETURNS SEPT. 10-11 WEEKEND
For the first time since 2019, the Solano Avenue Stroll is BACK Sunday, September 11th from 10a – 5p! The East Bay's largest street festival, the Solano Stroll showcases local and independent businesses, food vendors, local artists, jewelers, makers, games, musicians and more. Stroll-ish, a new sidewalk event, happens the day before on Sept. 10. | CAL GOLDEN BEARS FOOTBALL READY TO ROAR
UC Berkeley's football squad, the California Golden Bears, opens the season with back-to-back 1 p.m. home kickoffs at FTX Field at California Memorial Stadium against UC Davis (Sept. 3) and UNLV (Sept. 10). The schedule features additional Pac-12 home contests against Arizona (Sept. 24, homecoming), Washington (Oct. 22), Oregon (Oct. 29), Stanford (Nov. 19, 125th Big Game), and UCLA (Nov. 25). Go Bears!

| MAGNES COLLECTION'S NEW EXHIBITION OPENS
The Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life debuts its newest exhibition, In Twilight. Ori Sherman’s Creation, Sep. 6 through Spring 2023 featuring Ori Sherman’s highly imaginative series displayed for the first time in its entirety. For Sherman (1934-1988), a San Francisco Bay Area artist and illustrator, this new exhibition displays original works from his highly imaginative series for the first time in its entirety. Magnes Collection is located at 2121 Allston Way in Berkeley, CA and the galleries will be open to the public this fall Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11am to 4pm from Sep. 6 through Dec. 15.
