Things are getting tastier in Hampton! The Hampton Roads Convention Center recently announced its new food & beverage services partner. SAVOR is an industry leader in food service, with a sterling reputation and innovative approach to menu development. Newly hired Executive Chef Jay Altman, a 35-year culinary veteran with a Gulf Coast background, is whipping up delicious meals for conferences and meetings.

Visitors to the Embassy Suites by Hilton Hampton Convention Center can now enjoy transformed accommodations after the hotel’s completion of a six-month, multimillion-dollar makeover.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Hampton’s inviting, redesigned guest suites and bathrooms — including two presidential suites — feature new, modern furniture and fixtures in a simplistic style.

Meet Megan Boyer, Group Services Specialist

Q: How did you get your start in the industry?

A:  My first job was renting out umbrellas and cabanas on Clearwater Beach. I then pursued a degree in Event Management at the University of Central Florida. 

Q: What is something that you enjoy about Hampton?  

A: My family and I enjoy visiting The Casemate Museum, riding our bikes at Sandy Bottom Nature Park, and playing disc golf at the Hampton 9 Disc Golf Course.
