Darrell K. Williams became the President of Hampton University in summer 2022. Williams, a retired three-star U.S. Army general, former business leader, and educator is also a graduate of Hampton University.
As president, Williams's focus is to provide a supportive environment and academic excellence to students. He also aspires to provide support for strong physical, emotional, and mental health, and access to cutting-edge technology, research opportunities and more.
