Music in the Mountains | Saturday, July 11
Music in the Mountains returns to the Big Bear Discovery Center Amphitheater. This popular summer concert series brings live music under the stars at 7,000 feet, with proceeds supporting the Southern California Mountains Foundation and its conservation, recreation, and education programs. This weekend’s show features The Tina Turner Rock & Roll Review featuring Debby Holiday, with Live From Earth, a Pat Benatar tribute, opening the evening.

Outdoor Adventure Day | Saturday, July 11–Sunday, July 12
Outdoor Adventure Day is happening in The Village and throughout Big Bear Valley. This free, family-friendly community event celebrates the incredible outdoor activities and natural experiences our Valley has to offer, including kayaking, paddleboarding, pontoon boat tours, eagle spotting, off-road experiences, bicycling, nature walks, kids crafts, face painting, and more.

Manx Club Dune Buggy Bash | This Weekend
Big Bear will also be welcoming the Manx Club Dune Buggy Bash this weekend. While this is not a public event and is only open to club members and registered participants, you can expect to see a strong presence of dune buggies throughout town. We encourage local businesses to give them a warm Big Bear welcome and cater to this group where possible.

These events give us a great chance to tell a bigger story about Big Bear as a place where outdoor adventure, live music, lake life, local businesses, and visiting groups all come together.

As a Big Bear Valley local resident or business owner, we would appreciate your feedback regarding the future of Big Bear Lake’s 4th of July fireworks shows.

We want to hear from the local community about whether Big Bear Lake should continue with the traditional fireworks show or consider switching to a drone show in the future.

Your input will help us better understand local sentiment as future decisions are discussed.

Puptopia Big Bear is coming to Veterans Park on Saturday, July 25, and we are looking for dog-friendly promotions from local businesses to help create a fun, welcoming weekend for visitors and their pups.

This is a great opportunity for restaurants, shops, lodging properties, attractions, and service providers to create a special offer for dog owners visiting Big Bear during Puptopia weekend.

Promotion ideas could include dog-friendly dining specials, pet-friendly lodging packages, discounts for guests who bring their dog, pup cups, dog treats, pet-themed giveaways, retail specials, photo opportunities, or dog-friendly experiences.

Please submit your Puptopia weekend promotion by Monday, July 13 to be included in our promotional efforts.
