Big Bear has another great weekend of events coming up with live music, lake activities, paddling, open-water swimming, theatre, and unique local experiences. Spoken Words: On Our Golden Pond – Friday, June 26

Spoken Words: On Our Golden Pond takes place Friday, June 26 from 5:00 to 6:00 PM aboard the Big Bear Queen. Guests can enjoy an evening cruise on Big Bear Lake featuring stories, poems, music, local authors, and local voices inspired by the lake and mountain community.

Big Bear Lake Concert Series Weekend 2 – Saturday, June 27

The Big Bear Lake Concert Series continues Saturday, June 27 with Weekend 2 at the Moonridge Corridor. This free, all-ages event will feature Alien Ant Farm, The High Curbs, Nitro Circus, a beer garden, food options, and additional family-friendly entertainment.

Swim the Bear takes place Sunday, June 28, bringing open-water swimming to Big Bear Lake with 1.2-mile and 2.4-mile race options. The course starts at Swim Beach, heads out toward Eagle Point, and finishes at Ski Beach Park.

Summer Concert Series on July 4 – Saturday, July 4

The Summer Concert Series continues Saturday, July 4 in The Village with Hepcat and The Aggrolites for a reggae-themed 4th of July celebration.

This free concert series is presented by the City of Big Bear Lake in partnership with Visit Big Bear and includes live music, a beer garden operated by a local nonprofit, and games for the family. This is a great event to recommend to visitors looking for daytime and evening entertainment before the fireworks.

July 4th Independence Day Faire – Saturday, July 4

The Independence Day Faire takes place Saturday, July 4 at the Big Bear Lake Convention Center from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This fireworks pre-party under the pines will feature a vendor market, Kids Fun Zone, live entertainment, a special July 4th menu, and free admission.

This is a great daytime event to recommend to guests before the fireworks show.

Above the Boom at Snow Summit – Saturday, July 4

Above the Boom takes place Saturday, July 4 at Snow Summit from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. Guests can enjoy a Scenic Sky Chair ride, live entertainment, and a mountaintop view of the Big Bear Fireworks Spectacular.
