Weekend Outlook + Big Bear Peaks & Pines Next Weekend |
There are no major destination events scheduled for this weekend, which makes it a great opportunity for visitors to enjoy a more relaxed Big Bear experience with lake time, hiking, biking, dining, shopping, and exploring around town.
Looking ahead
Big Bear Peaks & Pines, formerly known as the Holcomb Valley Trail Run, takes place June 12–14, 2026. This event brings runners, outdoor enthusiasts, families, and spectators to Big Bear for a weekend of alpine trail racing and mountain adventure.
The event includes multi-day stage race options as well as the long-running Holcomb Valley Trail Run single-day races, with activities taking place at locations including Snow Summit, Big Bear Village, and Big Bear High School.

Chamber Level Up Academy: The Mountain Audience Blueprint |
The Big Bear Chamber of Commerce is hosting its next Level Up Academy session: The Mountain Audience Blueprint:
Crafting Content for Visitors on the Rise Tuesday, June 9 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Via Zoom Webinar
This session is designed to help local businesses better understand mountain-bound visitors and create content that speaks directly to them. Attendees will learn how to identify their target audience, understand why visitors are coming up the mountain, what they are searching for once they arrive, and how to craft content that makes their business feel like part of the trip they were hoping for.
The session will be led by Laura Salazar, who has spent more than 10 years helping businesses turn ideas into customers through social media, storytelling, analytics, and strategic marketing. With local experience in Big Bear, Laura understands the unique challenge mountain businesses face: attracting visitors before, during, and after their stay. |
