Big Bear Lake has once again been nominated for USA TODAY 10Best Best Lake, and we need your help keeping the momentum going.

Last year, Big Bear Lake earned the title of #1 Best Lake, and this year we have the opportunity to bring that recognition home again. You can vote once per day, and every vote helps keep Big Bear top of mind on a national stage.

Recognition like this gives all of us something to celebrate and promote throughout the year. It helps keep Big Bear relevant, strengthens our destination story, supports local businesses, and gives visitors another reason to choose Big Bear for their next trip. Awards like this also create positive PR that our lodging, dining, retail, recreation, and experience partners can proudly share with guests, customers, staff, and followers.

Please vote daily, share with your staff, and consider setting a daily reminder to keep the momentum going.

Run Wild Through Moonridge takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Moonridge. This community event invites participants to run, walk, and explore the Moonridge corridor while supporting local businesses, community connection, and outdoor fun in Big Bear.

It is a great opportunity for locals and visitors to experience Moonridge, enjoy a fun and active morning, and connect with participating businesses and organizations.

The Fishin’ for $50K Trout Derby will take place Saturday and Sunday, May 30 to 31, 2026. Booth space for participating businesses will be available at the awards ceremony on Sunday, May 31.

Please note that food may not be sold at booth spaces during the event, but food establishments are welcome to participate and promote their business.

The Big Bear Lake Village Wine Walk will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Guest check-in begins at 12:30 PM, the Wine Walk begins at 2:30 PM, and the event ends at 6:00 PM.

We are currently looking for businesses that would like to contribute prizes for the Fishin’ for $50K Trout Derby.

Prize donations are a great way to support one of Big Bear’s signature events while also getting your business in front of attendees and visitors. Participating businesses will receive promotional recognition through opportunities such as banner placement around the awards ceremony area, inclusion in Visit Big Bear social media posts, and mentions tied to event promotion.

This is a great way to showcase your business, support the fishing community, and be part of one of Big Bear’s most exciting summer kickoff events.
