Big Bear Restaurant Week runs April 5 through 12, 2026 and brings together restaurants from across the valley to offer special deals, signature dishes, and unique dining experiences. It is a great opportunity to encourage both guests and locals to get out and support Big Bear’s dining scene.

The Big Bear Polar Plunge returns on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Veterans Park in Big Bear Lake. Community members can run, walk, or dance into the chilly waters of Big Bear Lake while raising funds for Special Olympics Inland Empire. Proceeds help support free programs for athletes with intellectual disabilities, including sports, health screenings, wellness support, and leadership opportunities. Registration begins at 9:00 AM, opening ceremonies start at 11:45 AM, and the plunge begins immediately after.

This Earth Month, become part of a growing movement in Big Bear that is turning travel into a force for kindness. Through Kind Traveler’s Every Stay Gives Back program, every guest stay with a participating lodging partner helps fund local Big Bear charities that support community well-being and environmental stewardship.
To date, the program has generated $5,955 for Care for Big Bear and the Big Bear Alpine Zoo since launching in October 2025. Explore our local impact and community partners here:
