Event Marketing Assets for Partners

We’re excited to share a new library of event marketing assets designed to help our members and partners promote upcoming spring and summer events and encourage visitors to book their trips earlier.

This effort is part of a broader strategy that builds on proven creative performance while approaching current challenges from a fresh angle. Visit Big Bear is leading this initiative, but its success depends on all of us working together across the destination.

One of the biggest insights guiding this effort is timing. Event marketing tends to perform best when it starts 6–8 weeks ahead of an event, while travelers are actively planning. Promoting events earlier gives us a better chance to drive bookings now instead of depending on last-minute travel decisions.

A few things to keep in mind about the asset library:

  • It includes clean photography for a variety of uses, along with graphic assets for social media, websites, and e-newsletters, plus video content.
  • Most videos are around one minute long, making it easy to repurpose clips without your content feeling repetitive.
  • Many of the video clips do not include music, so you can pair them with trending audio on social media.
  • The library will continue to grow throughout the event season, with more than 100 assets already available.

Together, these tools will help create a strong foundation for our collective marketing efforts and support visitation and bookings throughout the season.

The afternoon will include a fundraiser and community gathering, along with a limited number of boat rides on Big Bear Lake aboard the Time Bandit Pirate Ship alongside members of the U.S. Rowing Team. It’s a unique opportunity to experience the lake before the season officially begins and get a firsthand look at where the team will be training.
