Kick Off Spring with the Polar Plunge, Vote Big Bear, and Industry Night

As we head into spring, we wanted to share a few fun ways to get involved, connect locally, and show Big Bear some love.

The Big Bear Polar Plunge is coming up on Saturday, April 18 at Veterans Park. This is a great chance to get your staff, friends, and family together for something fun while supporting a great cause.

Participants can run, walk, or dance into the chilly waters of Big Bear Lake to help raise funds for Special Olympics Inland Empire. It is one of those events that brings people together, creates great memories, and gives everyone a chance to do something meaningful for the community.

As we kick off a new season, let’s also keep showing love for Big Bear on the national stage.

After winning #1 Best Lake in the U.S. for 2025, Big Bear is currently in the running for USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Award for Best Small Town in the West for 2026, and we are currently in first place.

Spring also brings a great excuse to get out and connect with fellow hospitality partners. Industry Night at Piza Kama is happening Tuesday, March 18 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
