We’re excited to share a new library of event marketing assets designed to help our members and partners promote upcoming spring and summer events and encourage visitors to book their trips earlier.
Our broader strategy builds on proven creative performance while approaching current challenges from a new angle. Visit Big Bear will lead the effort, but success depends on collaboration with all of our partners across our destination.
One key insight guiding this initiative is timing. Event marketing performs best when it begins 6–8 weeks before the event, when travelers are actively making plans. Promoting events earlier helps secure bookings now instead of relying on last-minute travel decisions. |
A few things to keep in mind:
• These assets include clean photos for your varied uses, graphical assets (for use on social media, websites and e-newsletters) and video. • Most videos are about one minute long, making it easy to reuse clips without your content feeling repetitive. • Many clips do not include music, so you can pair them with trending sounds on social media.
• The library will continue to grow throughout the event season, with 100+ assets already available today.
Together, these assets will help create a strong backbone for our collective marketing efforts, driving visitation and bookings throughout the season.
