Guess the NEXT Big Bear Snowfall Contest

This is a fun, low-lift way to create buzz around the first big natural snowfall. Visitors submit a guess for the date Big Bear receives 6"+ of snowfall within a 24-hour period, and if they’re right, they could win 4 snow-tubing passes to Big Bear Snow Play plus a $250 lodging gift certificate. Full details and entry are here:

Why your help matters

Visit Big Bear has a powerful social media presence, and we also put paid support behind these campaigns using data to target the right audiences. But we still can’t do it alone. When local businesses share the message, it feels more authentic, travels farther, and creates the kind of community-wide excitement that drives real trips.

How you can help (quick ideas)

  • Post a “snow could be coming” teaser using the assets (feed + stories)
  • Encourage your followers to enter the contest and share their guess
  • Repost Visit Big Bear content when you see it
  • Add a quick “Tag the friend who calls first chair” or “Share with your snow crew” call-to-action in your captions

Thank you for being part of the push. Together we’re stronger, and together we’ll keep Big Bear top of mind the moment winter arrives.
