Last Call: Final Deadline for Big Bear Visitor Magazine

Dear Members & Partners,

This Wednesday, January 7, is the final deadline to book your ad space in the Official Big Bear Lake Visitors Magazine. Payment and artwork are not due on Wednesday—only your space reservation commitment.

The publisher handles all artwork for you. Simply provide images and copy points, and they’ll take care of the rest. If you haven’t yet connected with the publisher, please reach out to Wanderlust Content Studio today.

The magazine and its digital integration will be in circulation for a full year. If you’re not included in this issue, you’ll miss this opportunity for exposure to a targeted in-market and out-of-market audience until 2027.

A final reminder about the opportunity:

Research:

  • Print magazine ads stimulate emotions and desires. Readers have more focused attention, less distraction, and higher comprehension and recall (The Association of Magazine Media Factbook 2021)
  • 89% of visitors polled said that visitor magazines helped make their decision to visit a destination (The Value of DMO’s, Destination Analysts, February 2021)

Award-winning, Native Content Advertising benefits:

  • Audience stays engaged cover-to-cover, reading a collection of stories rather than distracting display ads
  • Native ad format makes Big Bear Lake businesses the star of the show, the subject of the magazine
  • Organized in a reader-friendly format
  • Native content can be broken down and utilized by Visit Big Bear in other digital formats, and passed along to you as excellent exposure on social, newsletters and/or blog content

Distribution strategy:

  • Fulfillment: Targeted digital ads drive demographic, psychographic, and geographic audiences to request magazine copies, resulting in thousands mailed directly to homes annually
  • Distribution via Big Bear Lake visitor center, used by Visitor Center staff to make recommendations
  • Visitor Information Centers, California Welcome Centers, airports, car rental counters and strategic locations in drive-market and on-mountain
  • Visible as a digital version on bigbear.com

We hope you’ll join us and have your story included. Please reach out today to Wanderlust’s Lisa Magnus to learn more today.
