WARNING: FUN WEEKEND AHEAD Jacksonville has a lot of big events happening this weekend that are sure to be fun for the whole family.
Jacksonville’s largest pop culture event for fans of cosplay, anime, gaming and everything “geek” is this weekend. WasabiCon is a two-day convention featuring celebrity guests, local artists, exhibitors, gaming, panels, contests and much more. Don't miss the fun Saturday and Sunday at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center.
The Viva La Fiesta: 2 day Hispanic Festival Jax festival will take place October 16 and 17 at James Weldon Johnson Park. Enjoy live music, dancing, delicious food and much more! On Saturday there will be music by Oscarito (Ex-member of Grupo Manía) and on Sunday there will be music by Salsa Band LPT.
The 34th annual Spooktacular returns October 15-17 and 22-31 at Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens! Each night from 6-10 pm, guests are encouraged to dress up in their family-friendly costumes to explore the winding pathways of themed decorations. Spooktacular features activities for all ages from trick-or-treating to scare zones.
Markets for Makers is back in Jax at the historic The Glass Factory 11am-5pm, October 16 and 17. Discover 60+ makers, take photos at the photo walls and fill your free tote with goods from small businesses! FALL HAPPENINGS, ALL IN ONE PLACE There are a lot great events coming up this fall, and it can be hard to keep up. Lucky for you, we have a list in our fall events rack card. KIDS FREE NOVEMBER IS ALMOST HERE November is right around the corner and that means free entry for kids all month long at Jacksonville's top attractions.
